Well, I was planning on letting my VK card cool off after purchasing my new monitors from them, but now I might have to look into a couple of the Beesneez 67s.

What are VKs credit options? I'd love something BN...

Yep, I can now buy BN mics from a main dealer in the UK, which is brilliant news. Peter Freeman grew Rode mics like this and he's on his way to being a Ozzy billionaire! .... I name this yacht "The Breeze Neez"

This is cool, and good for mics. I’ll just add though that I got great service from Wind Over the Earth, and a great price.

They used to carry them back in the day. Glad that they’re back. I like the new logo too!

Ben , (Mics) if you're reading , Ive just read the VK spiel on your 87i which on the one hand says it's a multi pattern condenser and the on the other hand further down the page it says you decided to make it cardioid only.... and then on the specs page it only lists it as being omni. I reckon you need to clarify that asap.
Also in one paragraph you are writing "our" and then in the next you are talking in the 3rd person with "they" - again, IMO serious proof reading would be beneficial to your sales potential.
On the plus side the new logo is a significant pro step. ( although there are photos of your 49 tribute with the old logo which isn't great IMO)
Please accept these criticisms as a way to help Ben , not to be destructive,
Cheers, Ross

One more thing Ben, there's an $1800 - ish difference in price between the BM 49 and the Tribute 4 yet they are described in similar terms ; the difference between them isn't clear to me on VK's web site.
Cheers, Ross

All of the wordings there are their own and they may have cut and paste from a few different pages. Thanks for the heads up. Ben

Curious on if wind over earth is still selling them in the USA. Mark was great to work with on the two B67s I bought. Nothing against VK.

Same price I’d pay importing one direct from BN, so no extra profiteering going on there - which is nice to see. Spent up currently, but the BN67 and C12 is on my wish list.

Eventual/more 251 Styles would be cool too. My guess is... There's still room at the 251 table. Chris

Maybe we should make one with the Aluminium diaphragm and maybe a t14t (toroid) transformer and house it in a part for part original look presentation. Thoughts? (I hope this isn’t a can of worms we are opening up here) lol;) Cheers

(I hope this isn’t a can of worms we are opening up here) lol;) Cheers I'd say yes, get that drawing board out. I was always interested in the Tele 251T which has a mix of aluminium & titanium and a Haufe T14/1 transformer. It's supposed to give the mic an extended range with airy "yet delicate" upper frequencies. Also probably the sound of pixie's dancing on the moon..
If I could find a decent enough replacement that I could actually demo I'd sell my 251 E in a about 3 minutes flat. Most of that time is me booting up my laptop..

and house it in a part for part original look presentation. Thoughts? Cheers I’d say only worry about the audible part-for-part of the original look presentation and skip the stuff that just raises the cost just to look original; less when it’s that something really isn’t much more.

We can then! BTW... IMHO maybe make a "Dilly-Deluxe" AND "Cost Effective" version? Honestly not sure. Thoughts guys? Chris P.S. I'm all for dancing Pixies. Especially when they look like Audrey Hepburn in her heyday. (Cues "Moon River")

If there is any way you can get it at $3000 U.S. or lower, it will likely sell like pikelets.

Pikelet is a cool word. (Never heard of it)
Just looked up they're smaller, but thicker/fluffier than our Yank pancakes. Chris

EDIT:2/17/24... A bit of a "singalong with Frank here". Using his studio cut, as Background, to sing parts of the Lead into the Elly. No headphones that way! Just some relatively better bits, of "Love Is Here TO Stay". Chris P.S. Am working to add quite a few Standards, from the American Songbook. This clip is quite informal, but learning the tone of this mic better this way.
