This thread is dedicated to stuff you'll actually buy in the future but isn't possible right now. I'm saving up to buy the Looptrotter 16 console, I've got 500 series modules under a cupboard at the moment doing nothing and instead of buying more racks it would be nice to slam it all into a single console. Also a second Carbon is on the list but so is a DB25 for the Carbon I just bought.

-Another Lynx Aurora (n) and JCF AD-8. Probably a few years from now. -Another 4038 and Sanken CU-55 -Some Pye comp, not the 500 series one. -Some Zener comp. More people are making these now and I don't buy Chandler, so glad to see the EMI-related designs are getting numerous. -Groove Synthesis Third Wave desktop. I'm not a huge synth guy but I always liked the PPG Wave. I'll eventually grab this for sure.

Coil CA-70. Keep thinking they'll be in stock soon (and when I'm cashed up)

I’m looking at a pair of Amphion One15’s in the future once I can finish up some more room treatment.
I’d like to fill out my 500 series rack. Maybe a Link Audio EQ, Sound Skulptor LA502, and Colour Palette. Need to build the CAPI LC25 I bought before I can move on.

An actual studio outside of my house! Hey! You should grab a hammer and come help build my new spot..! That's this years big deal. New room! Of course I don't know quite where that's gonna be yet... but its absolutely happening. Gear? Like stuff with knobs & buttons? Could be some of that. Almost positive. Just not sure what yet. First step is deciding what's actually going to survive and travel to a new spot. And right now everything is under evaluation... about the only things I'm positive about are SM57's, the DAW rig, the Yamaha birch kit and my '61 Bandmaster.

I’m just look looking for a room. I have no desire to do big tracking sessions. If I can’t get it done with 4 channels at a time, I know it’s more than I want to deal with. I need to get out of the house though. It would be amazing to be able to work at night!

I think I'm just going to build a Titan with Prometheus and Hyperion for now. Then maybe look at the Trinnov Nova. I'm not convinced that one of these 6k eqs would really have a huge advantage. Maybe further into the future consider something like an Overstayer MAS. Rhea and Dione might be something I look into down the line if I can justify the cost. Building a new computer with a 14900K processor is probably the priority as I need to make the most out of ITB mixing.

I make 3 or 4 “big” purchases a year and I think those will probably be a Chandler Zener Limiter, another Neumann U67 reissue, another Upton 251 (I like pairs!), and I’d love to find a Hammond A100/B3/C3 at a decent price locally.
Smaller stuff trickles in whenever a good deal comes along…I’ve been on a bit of a guitar buying streak lately and always on the lookout for a deal

Not necessarily Audio related, but I've been thinking about a new camera for video production.

There was another thread out there that I wish I could find, but it was something like "Talk me out of buying..." I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but here's what I have down for the near future: - KSM 141 Pair - IAA QP5's or QPP - Wes Audio Supercarrier II - Beesneez BC12A (Tube) - Not sure when this will happen, but damn, that microphone was so impressive in the recent BN shootout.
And the things I'm waiting on new developments or still researching: - Fet 47 microphone (Too many options at this point to choose from) - The New Iron Age Audio Compressor? - Louder Than Liftoff C Module Product? -- I was originally planning on picking up a Silverbullet Mk2 this year, but I'm curious if we'll eventually see an even crazier model* (fixed) that could house both the Tape79 and Fairimu Non Pro Audio Related: - Yamaha FG5 or FS5

Not necessarily Audio related, but I've been thinking about a new camera for video production. I picked this up and am really enjoying it. PTZ with AI. It's basically like Apple's center stage but with physical camera movements. Plus it's got really great lowlight performance for that price point. www.obsbot.com/obsbot-tail-air-streaming-camera

A DAD core256 or a Lynx Hilo2 so I can use a different mixer for Dante setup than my TF1. Even though it works for my monitor mixes and being stuck 48khz sampling rate doesn't really bother me, however, I would like to see if I'm missing out on anything not multi-tracking at a higher sampling rate. In the older days of digital, yes because they used to have aggressive low pass filters on converters. Now these days, they don't have that type of emphasis.

Going full frame sensor, hopefully.
