This has been out for like a year, right? You wanna talk about needing a loyalty path…I just spent over $4500 on the st-2 a couple years ago. Now they’ve discontinued it and any resale has been cut in half. From my understanding, there’s nothing new with the tech. It’s the same sonically, just a smaller form factor without fans. Maybe it will do something different at a later date, but from what I read, the Nova actually has less capabilities…

Drag.
Companies better think more about not shafting then old clients chasing the new ? Is your product supported at all ?

Yeah I think they support it until like 2030 or something.

I have the Nova - it is excellent, and made my already great acoustically designed control room go to the next level.

A lot of people have been having issues with their Novas on GS. This is something I put on my list to check out down the line as maybe I could use monitors in here if I got it.

Is there a version of this for poor people? I've got IK ARC and it's great whilst mixing but it would be cool to have a standalone always on solution of some sort.

Sonarworks is $249 and its files can be opened by any MTRX product and the new Audient interface.
Former Trinnov owner. Nothing is quite as thorough as a Trinnov, although its tendency to want to correct for quarter wave cancellations can be dangerous to wooferkind. I think that should be a preference.

I’m on Dirac here and it’s been pretty solid but the Trinnov has piqued my interest. Curious just how much better it is than Dirac though… Anyone here move from Dirac to the Trinnov system?
