not familiar with johnny winter.
I played the top youtube clip to hear his stuff and all of my kids instantly started dancing around the lounge room. music from the soul it seems.

Sorry to see him go. He was my second biggest influence after Hendrix. I saw him at Toronto's Massey Hall, front-row seats directly in front of him. I was a teenager, just watched his hands from 20 feet away for a couple of hours, I was in awe.
