The HPF and 1/2db increments without the need for the range knob are great additions, but man is that thing UGLY. It looks like their API Select range.
As a owner of the current API 5500, I'm not sure I see $1500 more in value, especially considering it takes up an extra RU.

Even though I’m a tube EQ kinda guy - I do the 5500 is a fabulous EQ - way out of my current budget!
