Am I missing why this is Tube Tech badged? Doesn’t seem like something in their wheelhouse.

I got the email on this today. It looks like a pretty useful plugin. I just started a 'big guitar' record this weekend, and I might just get this thing for mixing the guitars...
On a side note, does it bother anyone else that the moment he hits stop, different music starts playing under his voice?

Am I missing why this is Tube Tech badged? Doesn’t seem like something in their wheelhouse. It's a slimmed down SMC 2B, plus some PE 1C and ME 1B curves added in, same as the Drawmer S73 is their slimmed down Drawmer 1973. I just bought the 1973, after having started leaning into multi-band compression mixing live recordings.

Watch out. All Softube plugins not the Weiss and the fx have minimum phase anti-alias filters and a phase shifted top end. They will phase your tracks if in parallel or on a multi-mic recording if not on everything. Including Console 1. I get Softube plugs were originally for guitarists and VSTi musicians just like Overloud and U-he but they should include linear phase anti-alias filters on their things meant for mixing that aren't scrambling the phase anyway like delays and tape plugs. The Weiss are superb plugins though that rival anything other software and hardware.
