Radar's are very cool, and sound great. 2 things though,
1 - Some are getting old now, and I would definitely inquire about service and the cost for older machines.
2 - At least up to Radar 24, you need a machine room. Those bad boys are... not quiet.

The Radar 1, which this thing seems to be, was selling for around $500 in 2013. It looks like it is 16-bit, and uses SCSI. But I might be wrong. Interesting unit, nonetheless. I guess one could try changing the fans for something quieter if using them solely as converters.
