With the UAD promos I can bundle the C-Vox and the C-Axe and with coupons I would pay $52. It's pretty tempting, but I'd like to hear some opinions of these,, and anyone comparison thought between them and RX which I already have.
With RX I notice I usually have to set it up and commit the tracks, because I'll get some odd latency things, and they aren't subtle. I also notice a hi frequency roll off with RX, but I'm sure that's related to noise being in that area, especially cranked amp noise.
I appreciate anyone's thought and experiences, please and thank you.

Never tried C Vox but I use izotope quite a bit and am very familiar with its flaws. Our own Mark recommended I get Acon Acoustica and it’s been fantastic. I highly recommend it. Acon and Izotope sort of fill in each others gaps, they compliment each other well.
There’s also a 25% off sale right now at Acon.

Cedar is the OG of noise reduction and still quite good. haven't used that version of it. But its good.
I don't seen the point personally unless you're using UAD DSP. There are so many other good options out there. Clartify VX, Acon, DXRevive, more..Hell at this point RX is looking long in the tooth. v11 better have some stellar improvements. That said, it's still very ideal for spectral editing and is in use heavily here for that.

I am using an octo satellite.

I use C-suite a lot and it is definitely worth the money. It can sound a little gated if you over tweak it but you can always find a nice balance.
$52 is a steal!!

Says its algos are a new step or something like that. I’m always down for better room sims.

The whole suite is still very knew to me. I’m in the middle of a very busy project and have just been using some of the de-noise software to clean up a bunch of location audio I recorded for a video project. Haven’t had any time to experiment but I’ll let you know when I do
