Really wish mommy would let me get the $9k D-28 I want…but alas. Anything more affordable that’s a good deal I could grab?

I think the UA amp in a box pedals are on sale, or are up here anyways. Although iirc you may have gone down that path already. I picked up the Ruby but it’s not here yet, so no opinion yet.
Cheers, Geoff

I just bought a Stream Deck XL (and this pack www.sideshowfx.net/products-cubase)They're brilliant little devices. I'm already fast on Cubase 13 but with this thing music just appears like magic I nearly bought a second hand Tom Anderson HSS but it was $3,800 and I thought this is madness and stopped myself!!

I've been threatening to get a new 49 key controller. Those NI Kontrols look really cool.

Except I’m pretty sure they’re a closed system and are not automatically mapped to edit any plugin/ instrument outside their own ecosystem thus boring at best or impossible at worst to set that up. Nektar is the one you want for broad control but just check your particular DAW first for support.

Just nabbed NI's Komplete 14 Collectors Edition. Cross/Upgrade. $200. Man, that thing is getting so huge now. I think it's up to like $20,000 if you bought everything individually. I won't be able to run most of it until I upgrade my computer next year though.... But I though I'd cash in on the low price now.

Eventide SP2016 is the best. Direct port of the Princeton Digital 2016, one of the last great hardware reverbs ever made along with the Bricasti. It’s probably my favorite reverb plugin even though I use Megaverb more because the lofi genre guys love the Midiverbs and Quadraverbs.
It sounds so much better than Valhalla and Cinematic Rooms and comes way closer to that dark 80s movie dialogue tone than the Relab, UAD, and Lexicon Native Lexicon ersatz.

Audiothing’s Outer Space II
Mixwave’s Milkman Creamer collection and CA-70s
I need to spice up some hurried synth sounds…so far so good!
