Sounding pretty fine to me and love the eye candi! Looks ugly as sin to me - just mvho. But who buys a Vari-Mu for looks - who cares if it sounds great. That said, I think my Phoenix compressor is actually quite good looking - see beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I was watching the new film Oppenheimer with the family and in the racks of gear to detonate the first test bomb my teenage son said “look dad - they like STA Levels too  ” lol …. it really did look like a rack of 50’s tube pres and compressors. |
