I am planning on wiring up an XLR patch panel, and found some Gepco 61801EZ install-grade cable that I never used.
I’ve only dealt with regular thickness balanced cable before. Are there any good practices with heat shrinking/strain relief onto XLR/TRS connectors?

Other than the fact that it’s going to be stiffer, pretty much the same.

works best with Neutrick xlr nc3 type if you making patch cables with them.
