I think the UAD sims are pretty good by now (i think mostly made by Brainworx) and their achilles heel was mostly the so-so speaker IRs. These pedals (including the Ruby) are a further step in the right direction. I am no guitar player, but these pedals in the right hands with a nice guitar ...
