Wait...after watching that video, it basically selects a reverb and then you tweak it to the way you like it. Er...isn't that what I do every time I use reverb?
Ok...moving on. Nothing to see here.

Yeah, but there are a lot of very cool features all within the plugin. I would consider this a very 'all in one' time save reverb. I might end up with it one day, but I'm not looking for reverbs right now.

Lovely. so now one can be a "recording engineer" without really knowing anything at all! Just what we all need....

It's what the vast majority of new 'recording engineers' are already doing anyhow... they have no idea what they're doing, but watch youtube instructional videos for a couple of hours and think they know it all.

I have only used it a little bit so far, but I actually scored Izoptope Neoverb on sale a whole back and it has an "AI" component.
I actually went for it because I missed the exponential audio verb that I had (which didn't get ported on some update or other).

I believe Stratus and Symphony have most of the original Exponential Audio reverb presets

I need an AI reverb like I need a hole in my head. And I don't need an AI 'saving"me time - As far as I can see many or most AI made choices are not what I want. Damn thing can't even do a spell check right, let alone a reverb - or anything else audio.

I never understand why they keep developing AI music tools or people fear AI creativity.
Since when does creativity have anything to do with "intelligence" - it comes from a totally different place.
Part soul - part heart - part something mystical floating around in the ether "The Muse" if you will.
They can't get it right AI totally misses the essence of creativity.
And if it's engineering skills - the biggest steps forward in that field where made breaking and bending the rules! If you're just following rules we already have history books for that!

It's just more presets as I see it. A jumping off point to be rejected or tweaked. If you start delegating responsibility to a piece of technology, you're already lost. But a suggestion you might not have thought of? If it works, why not! Plus, if it pisses off traditionalists it can't be all bad.

Real creativity, has a serendipitous aspect to it: don’t think that can or should be programmed.

Damn thing can't even do a spell check right, let alone a reverb - or anything else audio. If you'd watch the video you'd see the AI part is fairly nil and that there's actually quite a lot that the creative engineer CAN do with the plugin. The AI on this seems much like what my TC M3000 has where you can check a couple of boxes and it gives you a suggestion of a few presets that are in that general vein. I actually believe the naming of this reverb as AI was the marketing department with the designers having very little to do with it. Seriously, watch the video, it's a pretty full featured piece.
