What are your favorites/best sounding?
I bought a three pack license from Thomann last year. Figure I better make my selections. I'm starting from scratch and looking at Decades, Fields of Rock, Hitmaker, Legacy of Rock and Rooms of Hansa.

Hansa has almost become exclusive for me. Hitmaker is really good too.

Hansa is so cool. That’s my go to as well.
I also have Hitmaker and Legacy of Rock, both good but different.
Legacy of Rock is a tad less modern sounding, but it and Hitmaker have more exhaustive controls over ambience given the shear number of room mic options.
And yet, I end up using Hansa the most.

Ok, Hansa is def one of my choices. It was already at the top of my list. What about Fields of Rock?

When I was using SD3, Decades was a main go-to. I also liked Hansa and loved one of the kits in the one called Brit Pop or UK Pop or something like that. I dug the Eddie Kramer one too (Legends of Rock?, what’s it called?) and liked the sonics of Fields of Rock, but I got out of SD3 land right around the time I got those, so haven’t used them on anything at this point.
When I went back to real drums, I had planned on using all these for augmentation, and may still do that, but I’ve found Tracker to be a little flakier for me the last few times I’ve tried to use it with real drums. Like some hits are phasey, some are flammed a bit. I need to investigate further whether that’s a viable, usable functionality or not. I’ve used it in the past with pretty good results.

I agree the core library is good. I also have hitmaker and stories. I like stories better. I have no experience with the others mentioned.
