Or if you want a cleaner version, I love the Pulsar 1178

Unless some company comes out with a jalepeno-cheddar-diode stereo convolution microphone invisiliner compregnetator plugin, I thought I saw the serrano version....maybe it was the habañero version, ...not sure, of this in the grocery aisle at sweetwater. I am just beginning my plugin journey and am trying not to "collect" them unless I have a specific need or see how I can use them (I am a songwriter creating demo's in a pro tools carbon setup.) For my 1073 fix, I am currently using the Lindell 80 series and I like what it does. Along that line, I am probably going to pony up for the Blackbird collection at some point in the future and then I think I am done for those. I did get Soundtoys because you couldn't do a search without someone mentioning them. I will probably hunt for an 1176 thing at some point and I hope thats the end of it, mostly. I am probably wrong. Your call, but check out the UA Signature bundle: its basically everything that is now native, so no hardware required, a very useful sample of UA’s plugs and all its current instruments. I upgraded to jt due to the current sale and it including the new Sound City and Capital mastering comp.

I cut it down to UA & Tokyo Dawn but I'm leaning on TDL more, I mainly just use DAW convolution verbs plus delay's (or Spark now) then swap it out when it comes to the final mix (sometimes at least). I also have the Lexicon / Eventide bundle and if it suits the song then the Satellite doesn't even get switched on. The rest is HW soo..

I have more plugins than I will ever use. Many of them are UAD which is better than "good enough" for anything I'll ever need a plugin for. I know all these plugin companies are trying to keep their doors open but how many different versions of an 1176 or EQP1 do you really need? I would say one or maybe two. The Fab Filter stuff has been great for me. I can't think of A N Y T H I N G else I will ever need for a plugin. Waves Bundle ver. 462 has absolutely no interest to me. I have some Waves plugins but never EVER use them. Unless some company comes out with a jalepeno-cheddar-diode stereo convolution microphone invisiliner compregnetator plugin, I am done buying plugins now and forever. I'd much rather save my money and spend it on another hardware EQ. I won't have to update that the next time an OS moves up a notch. ... I wished for a digital mixer with a full DAW built in with its own DSP and plugin engine and hard drive storage with a real hard drive controller instead of some USB port solution. Because I want to kick the computer out of the music studio....
So back in the spring I bought an Allen & Heath SQ-5 for the live sound gigs I do for a local cover band and I was pretty blown away with how good the converters and built in DSP were. I could probably mix a record on this thing if it had a few more features like you mentioned. A bigger screen would be nice too.
