Pretty cool. About $4000 for the organ. And it is digital. So what are the samples from? The copy seems to imply that the a digitally recreating the tone production, not just playing samples. I need to listen to more of their samples, because Bianchi seemed stuck in the 'roller rink' preset...

I almost bought a B3 last month, which I've desperately wanted since I was 16, but the thought of maintaining it, and the space pushed me into indecision - and it's gone now. I'm a Hammond lover and have always maintained that NOTHING comes close to a real B3. But geesh does this sound good. When one of the top jazz organists in the world endorses it it's worth a listen. www.facebook.com/patbianchiofficial/videos/3247590315545805Cool! Thanks! Will check it out!

Start selling.... I mean, I've got a jeep and a couple dirt bikes. That can easily suck up the excess cash generated by selling stuff. Sigh.... Bye bye Black Friday.... This made me sad. Have you considered a custom Iron Age Audio console? I've had close to a dozen consoles over the years. I love em, but I'm done with em at this point. I enjoy the hybrid approach. If I was tracking a bunch, that would be a different story.

Skyloft and Mozambique/Laguna restaurants BOTH has vintage B3's and Leslie's. SO cool! The keyboardists who gig at either, don't need to bring anything. Chris

At this point I've only got 20 pieces of HW in a hybrid solution with a mini SSL desk but I'm completely satisfied with my setup too. Got some great recommendations from this site like the IAA amp, Chandler stuff, M88 etc. and I doth need no more. I still have some expensive spares (like mic's) that are just collecting dust, if anything else I'd probably sell those and buy some more Beyer mic's.. Also I have one slot missing in my 500 rack that needs filling, that's just purely OCD though ..

I’ve definitely finished my rig. Both studio, writing room and live. Good job too, I’m now paying (happily I should add) for my two sons to attend university. I can tell you that bill dwarfs studio purchases

It’s actually a great drawbar setting to show what the Viscount can do.

I was thinking about this thread.
And without be too self deprecating, I was looking at all my gear and think I’ve definitely reached the point where I am the weakest link in my studio.
My gear now far surpasses my talent and abilities.
If I want my songs and recordings to sound better then I need to put my time and energy into working on me!

That's why I retain some Gear. Worse than even me. Chris

Dr. Bill, I'm so with you on this. I've not bought any new gear in probably two years, and that was to replace something, not an addition. About three years ago, I got very honest about gear that I like but don't use enough to justify it. I sold off what felt like a small dump truck full of gear, and it felt great and very freeing. The last vestige of this is a Microtech Gefell M-930 that I truly love, but haven't used it on a session in over 5 years. It will likely be on the market soon. Having all the gear you need is a wonderful feeling. Knowing the difference between what you might like to have vs. what you actually need and will use is also a good thing. Congratulations to you. -09
