Anyone remember the Quad mix fad? I have a quad mix of Dark Side of the Moon somewhere. It’s all kinda gimmicky considering most consumers still listen in mono. |

I've definitely reach the point of having more stuff than I could ever use, and I've been trying to pare down and just keep the things I use on a regular basis...I had a session the other week and one of the musicians went "when do you use all these compressors?" and my honest reply was "never"...so I've got some stuff up for sale. Same with a few microphone...everything I put up for sale is GREAT but how great is it if it just sits on a shelf all year? Even instruments and amps...if they are pulled out of the case or fired up what's the point of owning them except to feed the ego? Time to move them on to someone who'll use and love them.
I've still got my heart set on a few high price items though...I'm sure you'll get tempted again

Wow. Lots of great gear. Personally, im mostly jealous of the room. That's what I'd really love more of! The room is unreal acoustically and makes things much easier downstream. |
