I find the whole luna summing a misnomer as to. E real summing is what happens in an analog board or an analog summing box. The combining ld digital files, digitally isn’t actually summing in the analog sense… A6 little late viewing this thread, but as an electrical engineer and DSP guy, I wonder what you mean by this. I understand the part about analog having a clipping limit (headroom dependent on design), and digital can be floating (and is in virtually all modern DAWs), with astronomical headroom. But other than that, they are both summers to as great of accuracy practical. Not implying analog has to be op-amps, but that term means “operational amplifier”, designed to do mathematical operations for analog computers. Summing, multiplying, inverting…they found their way into audio gear because a mixer is an analog computer too. It multiplies and sums inputs to calculate outputs. Just curious of you point of view, why you don’t think digital mixers sum in the analog sense. Other than fine nuances (and insane headroom in the case of floating point).

Yes, it makes the API strip almost unusable. I pulled in the SSL strips. 3rd party plugins are easier to see

Just updated to UAD v11.1 on a M1 mac and Luna seems to sound even better now... anyone else experience that? I don't always use Luna, and for the past few months it seemed like it wasn't up to par, but as soon as I updated it sounded a lot better. That, or just psychoacoustics messing with my head.

Using the channel strip functionality makes the vision controls tiny. However, you can stick it in the insert section and it opens up plenty large like a 3rd party plugin.
