I think Josh goes to the concerts and brings one and then chats up the sound guy !

This has been going on for many years.
I get contacted either by the front house engineer or a musician of the band or sometimes by the main artist itself in advance and get invited to their shows in Chile, the Chili Peppers and Roger Water's are the latest two.
I always try to bring a gift as a thank you gesture for the invites or sometimes they order multiple things in advance to be delivered in hand and someone from Stam comes to the show.
I have to say, being present on the mix bus of bands that can afford anything in the world is indeed humbling!
