Can't find one anywhere. A friend of mine has a pair of these and the PSU stopped working. A schematic would make it a lot easier to troubleshoot but there is absolutely nothing for them online anywhere. Hoping someone here might have a resource.

Honestly just reach out to DPA. They should be pretty helpful on that front.

I have a 130V schematics for what I beleive 4003.. The 4004 should be very similar, if not the same, I’d think. Just email to:

So it’s the power supply/buffer amp unit which went down? That is the Achilles heal for that mic. The HV mics are fantastic. But those power supply units drag it down. That’s why I developed a 130v supply+preamp combo that has been on permanent soundtrack rentals for 15 years. Let’s the mic finally realize full potential and deliver M50 performance with much less noise. |
