Hi Guy's, one huge advantage of being a true manufacturer is that we can get things right quickly. here is a little something I spent about 15 hours from inception to Part. In other words, from Farm to table in 15 hours. They will also fit the Stam and other U87 / 67 mics that have the same base. They will be listed at AUD$499 but you guys can have the first few at AUD349 Let me know if you want one. They will be all black as I feel it looks sleek!! thanks

Here are some other pics. It will be supplied as a universal cable and will be a plug and play for most of the 7 pin xlr and 3 pin xlr 67 and 87 clones out there.

Just an opinion Ben and for sure Im no expert on these connections but at the price I reckon the tension "handle" does it an aesthetic dis-service and would be better re-thought in it's shape and made from metal. Other wise kudos to you and I guess I've just proved it's a tough gig being a manufacturer. Cheers, Ross

Hi Ross. Thanks for your observations however, the tension handle is metal. It is actually made from stainless steel and powder coated black as the shiny surface adds a new colour palette to the mic and this is not what we are aiming for. The brass will also be the same color as the handle. This means that we are only featuring 2 x colours on the mic being black and Matt nickel.
The original versions of this type of swivel have a screw that is fixed tension; these sadly do loosen over time and can come crashing down.
I hope this allays some of your questions.
Cheers

Great idea! Personally I love vintage swivels. Design wise I would either make them pure black or more classic looking. Both the classic u67/u87 swivel and U47 swivel looks beautiful. I'm sure people would pay premium for that look. I know that they're expensive to make so I understand the pricepoint.
I saw a messe picture of your product line and they look even better in a "bad photo" impressive. Wouldn't mind trying out a few of your mics Ben on my YT-channeo.

Ben, I am interested. I have one B67-269, but am really thinking of a second. Side note: How can we order longer cables?

These look exquisite! Remind me of the Rolls Royce coloration.

Do you want one for the mk1?
I could make it available for the 67 and 87ic
I’d need to get an idea of some numbers.
Thanks
Ben

I was just curious. I honestly am quite happy with the shockmounts for the MKI pair I have. I do hate the Stam tube87 shockmount a ton, though. So if anything, I guess I would get one for that mic, but I don't know if I hate it enough to drop $500AUD for another mount. though they do look cool.
