Does it not have an emphasis knob? One that many overlook, it can change the sound quite a bit

LA2a is possibly the only studio equipment besides maybe v72 with no tricks what so ever. The only thing I see people occasionally going wrong with is thinking the gain is an input gain due to its physical positioning but other than that… 🤣

Also the presentation was kinda pointless regarding the presentation of the versions. Three variations was presented but not in similar context to specify the difference. Rather just waving them by as, it has it’s own vintagy vibe 🤣🤣🤣🤣…. Well a LA is as vintage as is gets anyway. You would think UA would make the effort of assuring substance in their videos to differ them from the hundreds or thousands of pointless la2a videos on youtube. After all, they sit on the history, knowledge, economy and tech of these units.

Calibration tutorial would be much more useful. And the emphasis pot on the detection circuit. Oh wait, is this for the SOFTware?? lmao
