I’m kind of tempted by the cross grade offers. Mostly I just want the EMT-140, which I don’t think is offered natively yet. Have you tried the arturia 140? Despite I use plenty of uad plugs I have a set of arturia plugs that I use on every mix, and the reverb 140 is one of them. Worth while checking it out if u r looking for a native emt 140 style reverb. Yeah the Arturia stuff is really cool. |

I just downloaded this and pulled up a gentle acoustic song and applied it to the lead vocal. It sounds really nice, upon my first usage.

If it’s the silver algo, that’s the brightest in the collection in my experience. I always tend to use the gray one.

Like Waves and IK, they’re trying to get their propriety software on your computer that will show ads and phone home.

Like Waves and IK, they’re trying to get their propriety software on your computer that will show ads and phone home. It's getting harder and harder to avoid the "ET phone home" thing, unfortunately. On a relatively positive note, with this new freebee plugin being machine authorized, it makes you wonder if it's not a test case which ultimately leads to UA caving and allowing machine authorization for all of their plugins. I mean, it's still Ilok, but at least it won't be cloud. |

Gee my other free Plugs, like the MuseFX suite... Are looking a bit better. These are great for the less experienced recording person-like me! Very cool for simplistic things. Ala Audacity. Chrus |

The tdr collector plug works the best because there are only like 5 plugs and it can repair your installs. Worst are Waves Central and plugin alliance |

Well, it worked. I got the free one and took the upgrade to the 2A collection because there really seemed to be something special there when I was trying Spark out for a couple months.
That said, I'm really glad that I didn't take them up on the previous, more expensive offers or buy into hardware when UAD were initially vague on if or how long it would take perpetual licenses to become available for non-hardware owners.
UAD is effectively Waves or PA for me now where I'm not buying in for anything over the lowest sale price.

Is there a way to grab it without downloading UAD Connect? I run PT 12 on Mojave, Silver Apollo- the UAD Connect bricked my Console, prolly no good on Mojave… but a simple uninstall of Connect solved it.

Many are being pulled into their bundles from this stroke of genius. They do have great plugins tho. Especially for those who know the hardware, works and thinks in those terms, these tools are very valuable.

Panic! The clock is ticking... only hours, or maybe minutes to go!
I grabbed the $49 UA bundle - The LA-2A collection, plus their Pultec EQs and a few other things. I'm tempted by their 1176 set and the Distressor, which I could get for another $99. I've never used a Distressor in real life, and have recently lost access to the only 1176 plug I had that worked with Logic. So, obviously I need these, right? I'm just - like probably EVERYONE living inside a rabbit hole of plug-in sales. But an 1176 and the Distressor would be vital adds, right?
