As far as I understand the internet, an EV 660 is more or less an EV RE15 with a transformer (and the transformer is responsible for the low end roll off), whereas the RE15 is transformerless.
I thought I'd better ask before I did something stupid: Does anyone have any experience disconnecting the transformer from a 660 or similar, making it transformerless?
