Does anybody remember the series of collaboration videos that Beck did at Sunset Sound? It happened like at least 10 years ago, but I'm thinking it may be closer to 15 years ago.
Anyway, if I recall, they were all in black and white. They had some really cool collaborations and involved interesting covers of songs, and maybe some originals too. I seem to remember it maybe having a Velvet Underground vibe or something.
I went and saw Beck in concert last night and, for whatever reason, those old videos popped up in my head. I wanna say they were hosted on a website built specifically for that purpose, but they may have also been on YouTube. I can't remember all the details. I'm just trying to provide as much context as I can.
Does anyone know where to find those videos, or if they were archived somewhere? I can't find them online, but I'd love to revisit them. It was fun viewing.

Ok. Yes. That's one of them, but I'm pretty sure I remember there being a lot more than just that particular video. Like there was a whole series of them with regular updates over a period of months or even a year or more. Edit: See below. It looks like that YT link actually does show a bunch of different stuff for the Record Club.

Oh yeah, the Record Club videos. www.youtube.com/results?search_query=beck+record+clubIt's a shame they're so grainy, I hope he re-releases them. I agree, they were so fun and you got some insight into his (and maybe, by proxy, Nigel Godrich's) ways of doing things. It's crazy to see a shy, still finding herself St. Vincent, plus the singer from Liars, James Gadson and the rest of the Beck regulars. Ok. Actually, maybe this encompasses them. I'll have to scroll thru them all to see. But this does seem to be more like a comprehensive list.
