It's actually almost too good if such a thing is possible. I've been setting up this live recording room and threw this one up on piano vocal thinking "meh, why not try it... I can always use a different kick mic."
Honestly, kind of amazing. Rejection on the level of my m88 at least in this room in this application. For my purposes it might even be too much, the other mics I set up picked up vocal and piano when set up in front of the piano and I was mixing that with my piano mic to nice effect. This thing barely even registers the piano not to mention the rest of the room.
I think part of it is that it's so good at reducing sibilance that I can really get right on the mic, engage the HPF and just sing. So I don't have to run it as hot as the other stuff I've tried in this position.
Anyway, I keep finding new uses for this mic so I thought I'd share another one.

Double tapping my own post here... but between this mic, my Signal Art U48 (also made by Chad Kelly), and various Lewitt and Beyer mics I'm just amazed at what you can build for a few thousand bucks these days.
For all the problems that audio tech has brought on (massive dilution of quality recordings and almost too low barrier to entry), the world of affordable microphones is pretty insane these days.

I'm rather new to the United 47fet, but I did recently use it in a live session of a blues rock band (harp/vox, gtr, bass, drums) that are regulars of mine.
They were in to humor me on some tracking setup options.
After tracking, we listened to all tracks soloed at various times across a 10-song set. Just not much extraneous (or unusable) bleed on any mics, but with that 47fet practicality right in the middle of everything, it just seemed to want to do kick, as was its job.
Very pleased with the mic so far. Good value here, I think.

I may have to look into a second one here. I do like having things in pairs.

[...]Rejection on the level of my m88 at least in this room in this application.[...] Comparing it to your SAE U48, how's that rejection? Is this more a product of being able to get closer on it, or does your 48 also exhibit a similar rejection (in cardioid)?

Is this more a product of being able to get closer on it, or does your 48 also exhibit a similar rejection (in cardioid)? That's a really good question. I don't have that set up in my live room but maybe I'll bring it down this week to test.

No rush! Just curious in general.

That's why I bought 2! Kick drum and Floor tom, but also, in the right place mind you, amazing bass extension on a stand up bass. For a rock kick, a B52, the 47 and sub kick is a hard combo to beat.

Debating getting a second one. Was budgeting for a second m160 which is in the same general range, tough call.
