Would you be so kind to let me know which of these 76 style FET compressors you prefer?

I am torn between option 1 and option 2 for future manufacturing. No comp going on. Just different transformers.

It took a few listens. That’s not such an easy choice, and I think it takes experience to get to the best decision.

At first option 1 seems more open, but in truth, it’s just thinner. Listen to the background instruments on option 1 and then on option 2. On option 2, they’re more present and balanced. I’d say use option 2 for sure. Option 1 has a less finished quality.

I thiiiink I like option 1 better...seems like it's a little thicker. But neither are bad.

Option 1 competes with a lot of the best stuff I heard in the thread where they used this song to compare so many compressors.
