Gotta say, this is indeed a very special ribbon w/ full range extension, solid bottom & quality build. I've only been able to track acoustic gt w/ it so far but it is sweet! Honestly can't wait to track e gt's & vocals in a few days. Seems like a winner over here thus far. Also seems it will be very tough to beat w/ a 1k price. Attachment Deleted |

delcampo yeah, thats a killer mic, i have a pair of custom ribbon mics coming from mark, should be here friday, cant wait. Can you post a sample of it in action on your acoustic?

I'll try to post a sample tomorrow Tony. Mark does some serious ribbon work. We tracked almost all instuments on one song with this mike and its killer drums horns acgtr elec gtr dobro upright bass I could totally hear them working on all those sources.. & drums / vocs as well. |

+1 on Mark/Marik's work!...brilliant engineer...rebuilt one of my ribbon mics...it competes with some of my condenser mics with it's air and articulation, while still maintaining the velvet texture of a ribbon...and his toroidal transformers are top-shelf!...Mark's vastly talented and a gentleman to boot!
