Can anybody speak to if Logic Pro has reliable delay compensation on side-chain busses? I understand this used to be a problem, but I am finding reasons to move away from Pro Tools for the sake of needing stereo side-chain keys. Logic would be my top candidate, but I want to make sure I’m in the clear before I’m dealing with problems
Thanks!

No. Apple breaks it off and on. Logic is one of the worst DAWs for accurate delay compensation. If you work around it with delays, Apple will break it later!
Reaper and Cubase have rock solid plugin delay compensation.

Reaper and Cubase have rock solid plugin delay compensation. I am so mad at them for that. I have mixed probably 3-4 years in Logic, loving the onboards effects and the general DAW. Most of the time my wends were simple and the delay compensation was no problem. Then I mixed a metal song, and had a complicated delay setup for the guitars. And could for the life of me not find out, why it sounded terrible. I have learned that technique on YT and it should work Tried the same thing in Studio One and it sounded insanely good. Was the delay compensation. Since moved to Studio One, because I needed WIndows compatibility as well. Reaper has by far the best delay compensation for me!
