I heard loss of HF when bypassed - even on my Macbook Pro speakers. I don't want to deal with HF loss on a mix - no matter how good the low end gets. Promising plug in though.

I suggest anyone interested to be very thorough in the demo period. I was overly excited on demo back when it came out as it did a great trick on a particular track I was working on but after purchasing and using more it was doing more damage than good for my uses.

I feel like it was discussed here when it came out.
I was skeptical at first, but now it always gets used at the end of the drum bus, which is the only place I’d generally have any stereo subs happening in my work. It does the job better than any other tool I’ve tried. It’s a pretty transparent way to gain some headroom.

The clarity in the low preset works pretty well for me with my current hardware-rendered files and chain of finishing plug-ins. It can definitely damage stuff if you're not careful.

I've had excellent results with it. I don't know anything else that works as well for certain things in a mastering scenario. Absolutely requires precise low frequency monitoring when tuning though to not be surprised later. I also had to fight myself a bit not to just turn it on by default on most songs, kind of like when I first got into izotope's Low End Focus module.
Honestly I mostly use it during mixes now though, creating harmonics on bass and drums, or using it in bandpass mode for dynamnic widening of the mids. Don't sleep on it for that application. It also sounds (and even functions) a bit differently with the lin phase oversampled mode on.
Like robo said, check it out on a drum subgroup to tighten the lows or expand them into the limiter if they're dull or need to bounce more.
