I love this plug for gaining width and depth. It's got nice clean filters and a little width control goes a long way. It also stays pretty mono compatible. anyone else use this one? www.mathewlane.com/DrMS.html

I use it and like it too. Also dig the Brainworx stuff. Really simple and flexible.

demo'd it. Didn't get it to be honest. Thought I could either not hear it or that I was wrecking my mix.

Try taking some stereo power guitar parts and running the track through DrMS with these settings: In the Mid section bring the level down to 85% and in the side section bring the level up to 115%. You can solo the modules to see if you want to clear out any mud that may not make a difference to the overall sound. Usually the side can benefit from little HPF which will make the source wider still. This setting also stays very mono compatible. May or may not work for you but these setting give me a little more width. Btw I'd never use this plug on a whole mix...just some stereo elements in the mix that need to get out of the way of other stuff..

watched the demo, this seems like a solid tool, especially for those who write songs as they track, seems great for controlling the space between your speakers...

I'd love to give it a go, I should see if they'll offer me another demo period
