Had a great time meeting Jeff Steiger and some of the Real Gear gang at Blackbird Studio today. It was a CAPI / Coil Audio event. Needless to say, it sounded great. Attachment Deleted |

I love Coil and Capi and have both. If it wasn’t for the Olympic’s they’d be my only pre’s on drums. We’re so spoiled to have such passionate gear producers.

I didn't get the chance to hear the A-B between the API board and the CAPI gear. I think they'll post it eventually.
Sorry I missed you John, I was trying to hang out longer because Jeff told me you were coming soon, but I couldn't stay more than a few hours. It was the first time I'd gone anywhere since my three recent surgeries. I've been fighting an uphill battle since last December. It was good to be seen and as always, the Real Gear gang were fun and welcoming.

It's been known to happen Eric. Yeah I just don’t have the patience, after 45min I always want to find a quiet bar and cry, thing is the only quiet bars downtown are in the big expensive hotels and Us normal people can’t affect to drink there. |

They had Coil preamps with tubes. I'm not sure if if thy were new or not.
