with latest sonoma and logic pro all plugins load sloooowly … is this new? on my old mbp 2012 they loaded almost instantanly. its 2023 - comeon! Are you talking about when you instantiate a plugin, or when booting Logic, and it's scanning the plugins folder? instantiating. |

Rule number one: do not connect your computers for working to the net. Never. No Wifi, no LAN, not. No surprises this way. If you are in power when and how and if something updates, then you own the machine. Put updates and stuff away in the backup, to restore without an internet connection or on the mercy of servers elsewhere. Mirror your system drive when you have a stable system with everything installed and auth'd.
