Seems like Stam Audio had some pretty big news today, with mention of some USA manufacturing and 500 series DIY kit possibilities.
So far, it seems like the social media presence has been really supportive of the DIY option, and I'm VERY interested in that. Seems like a no-brainer. I'm totally interested in a few 76-5A kits, and a 4K-5T. After my wonderful experiences with CAPI and AML, I'm very much ready to roll on some Stam compressors!
I know Josh pops on here from time to time, and I for one am really on board with the DIY possibility, especially if all the parts and components are the same quality as the typical Stam offerings. My soldering iron has been dormant for a bit too long. She's ready to come out of hibernation!

Nice for those who run 500.
Total pricing will be interesting, if parts are sourced and shipped from US, shipping should be fair bit less then from Chile.

This is absolutely fantastic. I would be in cloud nine if they decide to eventually sell DIY kits.

Copied from fb:
“Hey Guys,
We have some really exciting news as some of our units will soon be manufactured in the United States and sold in stock with next day shipping. We will gradually incorporate them to our website as they become available.
This is a great move for us and for an even greater cause which we will disclose in the upcoming months but it's a way to give back to those who have done so much for us.
I also would like to take this opportunity to ask if you would be interested in DIY kits on our 500 series units such as the 312-5T, 1073-5T, 3A Plus, 76-5A and 4K-5T ?
We continue to push forward and are looking forward to welcoming our American family to Stam Audio!
Warm Regards, Josh“

I was sure to express my genuine enthusiasm for that suggestion on the Facebook post. Would be awesome to have some DIY kits from Stam!
I would also love if they did some DIY kits for their microphone lineup too.
