Now that I am gonna get out and about at some open mics etc., I want to take a tonedexter pedal with me to help out my gigging acoustic’s saddle pick up. In order to make it as easy on these sound guys as possible, I want to be plug and play and not have to worry about wall warts or extension cords (and also possible nasty power hums). What battery options are out there? I have looked at the Mission stuff but want to ask people with some experience. Thanks!!

I thought the link would turn into a nice picture, but nooooo. And the one I linked to is center positive but you can find the opposite as well.

I just went through this. I use only 2 or 3 pedals -- and wanted isolated power for each. I also didn't want to spend a bunch of money for an 8x, 10x, 12x isolated power module for a couple of pedals. My approach: use three separate battery packs and attach each to a pedal with these: www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD54Q66?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsI happened to have a handful of small, rechargeable, lithium packs and bought 3 of those 5v-to-9v adapters off of Amazon. They work flawlessly and you're not going to get more isolated power than ACTUALLY ISOLATED power supplies (via battery). Note 1: most battery packs are meant to charge phones, etc via USB -- at 5v. You can buy an appropriate battery pack for about $20. Add the 5v-to-9v converter and you are done for about $30. Note 2: any battery pack out there is probably going to have 'ganged', not isolated outputs. So, even if the battery pack has 4 usb outputs, they are likely not isolated. My $.02

Cool, Greg! -- then just get yourself that adapter and a cheap battery pack and you're set.
