Hello, Mixbus family!
We've got some HUGELY exciting news to share:

With SSL's help, we will be able to deliver on the promises of our DAW platform ... bringing you all the sounds, workflows, and technologies that you've been asking for. We are very excited about this opportunity to meet and surpass your expectations!

If I didn’t love Digico , Calrec and Sound Devices so much I would say this console consolidation is terrible, but as a fan of Harrison and understanding how much of a Niche it’s primary market market is, congratulations guys, I think you found the one umbrella that means the technolog / knowledge and the Harrison Brand will Survive! Now someone buy the DDA brand from Uhliy!

I would probably still be using SSL converters and DSP stuff if they hadn't dropped support for them without notice.. TWICE.

*$@(*@ Harrison~!
In 1980 something I purchased a new Harrison MR-2 console for my second room in my Manhattan studio. Hired a professional crew from either Audio Techniques, or Martin Audio, (I can't remember which at this point) to wire it up to all the existing equipment. It took three or four days for the 2 guys to complete the job. Cost was something like $5000.
Nothing worked~! Apparently the technical wiring manual that came with the console, was incorrect, and the bay was wired completely wrong.
I called Harrison to ask what the deal was, and if they knew the manual was wrong? I wanted to know if they would compensate us for the wasted expense, but NO... They apologized for the inconvenience...and they were going to correct all the new Manuals. So again @#^&$ Harrison.
Go figure.

As much as I understand Paul’s F$&K Harrison, give me a week and I can find a story like this for every LFC manufacturer! But yeah I get Paul’s F$&K Harrison!

"Harrison joins SSL family" George? Chris Didn't George famously say when SSL first started touting "total recall," "why would you want to recall a mix you don't like?"

George Harrisons console was a Cadac~! Cadec still independent and the Live 1 is a sweet little analog board. You would probably like it Paul, it has some weird routing but knowing your taste Paul, you will probably like it.

I could never get any SSL software or their converters (was it Duende...or Matrix?) to work properly in my studio. It's been a minute, but it didn't take me long to throw up my hands with them.
