Is there ever any concern about LED noise leaking into the audio (even ultrasonically)? I love LEDs but I’m superstitious sometimes. I guess a spectrum analyzer would help me prove either or.

I bought a bag of warm white LEDs back in the day and have been using them to replace bulbs for years. I take the old bulb, smash the glass out of it and pull out everything from the base. I then solder the LED and the appropriate current limiting resistor for the voltage into the base. I can then do a couple things. I can angle the LED so that the light it casts is better for the application, or I can take some sandpaper and dull the outside of the LED so that it's more disperse light.

Uh.. Can I ask why you would think an LED would be noisy? What if an LED is connected to a PWM source and not to DC? Could that cause noise?

Uh.. Can I ask why you would think an LED would be noisy? What if an LED is connected to a PWM source and not to DC? Could that cause noise? Sure, but so would the pwm source. The action of the diode snapping on and off would add high frequency harmonics to whatever frequency components the pwm adds, both of which should be well above audio frequencies I would think. If the LED were instead connected to AC it would switch at AC frequency, but the voltage should be set so low via the resistor (a volt or so) that it shouldn't cause much issue. Either way, remember that an LED is a current fed device. The forward vintage is relatively low and the region of current between Max and min brightness isn't much.

Uh.. Ok. Why you seemed to take offense to that, I don't know. Uh.. is the universal verbiage of confusion, as in I had no idea what to say to your statement, which is why I asked for your clarification. No offense was intended on my part. However, I'm still interested in what you've heard that had you wondering about noise from an LED. I really did want to know, which is why I asked.
