Thought I’d start a separate thread on this as my questions are pretty specific to APS…but what’s up with these speakers? Seems everyone was raving about them but they seem impossible to buy now. I’m guessing supply chain issues, no?
How do they compare, to each other and to the usual suspects? I’d be seriously considering buying a pair if they were available

I'm using the klasiks from 2015. Excellent monitors. I plan on upgrading to PSI A23-M 3-way in the future, but the Klasiks 2-way are really good, I like them a lot. You need to push them a lot to get the bass to fart. The extension in the low is great to have for electronic music. Very clear, very detailed. Phantom center very distinct, almost frightening. I find them a bit noisy, idle. A little white noise that disturbs me, but I'm just obsessing on it ; objectively, it's quiet. I think that I'll keep the Klasiks, even after the PSI. One thing I hate about them, though : super narrow sweet spot. You can't move, you can't lean back on the chair. That's the one thing I really dislike about the Klasiks version 2015, after 7 years of use.

Monitors are fashion, time and marketing budgets are the biggest influences.

Monitors are fashion, time and marketing budgets are the biggest influences. ATC and Genelec are the only mass monitor manufacturers left in America willing to support the pro market with good distribution and dedicated service. No shitty “authorized repair center” or ship it back to Europe bullshit! Yamaha is fine if you want to get parts from them and diy or bring it to an independent tech. Kali Audio is selling parts now too so I hope they step up to the plate to replace JBL post Samsung sale. Only ATC, Quested, and Yamaha are using amplifiers that won’t fry themselves eventually too!

Seems that a lot of "high end" monitors suffer from ultra narrow sweet spots.
It's a total deal breaker for me. Can't and won't use a monitor with a tiny sweet spot no matter how good they are otherwise.

It *is* a deal breaker, such a pain in the ears. I read that PSI monitors don't suffer from that defect. It's way more expensive than Klasiks and Aeons. And it's red lol. I guess that's what you get when you buy swiss made products.

Was really impressed, but pricey.
