For those using the Miad on the 2-buss, how easy is it to match both channels on the master buss? I have no problems matching, but if used solely for the 2 bus, I'd opt for the +/- 6dB version as I find my boost/cuts fairly minimal on the scale of things with those EQ's. I rarely need 6dB and almost never more than that. But that's for my needs. YMMV.

I figured as much.. Even in tracking i would very rarely need more than 6db. Thank you!

Topic is CEQ vs Curvebender. Forum answer - MIADs. I don't doubt they are excellent EQs, but you can't compare them to the CEQ; I mean they don't even have a HPF. The CEQ is basically the best bits of a PEQ and MEQ in one unit, but where each band has been tailored to perfection. The mid cut section is unlike anything else - you always feel like you are gaining not taking away because it compensates by boosting neighbouring frequencies in a really flattering way. Low end is solid, pulteq curves, tight, no mush. Mid boost has character. Top end is clear yet adds a touch of something nice. Anyway, the topic will probably never be answered as I'm not sure if the CEQ are still being built anymore and there's probably only 20 or 30 in existence. I got mine from KMR about 3 years ago for £3600 ex VAT and I can't imagine being able to replace it for less.
