Anybody here ever try a Myburgh M1? They were designed by Andrew Myburgh and Andreas Grosser. I have invited Andrew to drop by and add his 2 cents .

I'm saving for a Myburgh M1. It's cute (so cute) and I liked the audio demos. Not too many things about it online.

Some of the guitar examples sound nice. On vocals, I preferred the U67, but male and female. But that's just a cursory listen, and all examples are solo. In context is very different.

There's a guy on GS that bought it & I think he also bought the Josephson 725 & has written about both! If I find it I'll come back & post the link.
EDIT: His name is David Rick from Colorado.

I've been asking to demo a M1 on my channel for years now haha! It's a beautiful looking mic and I'd love to try on, no luck so far though!

My friend Manny Nieto gets fantastic results from one! If you're on the gram, look for him and follow him. He's there as Suplexaudio And I'm there as Comfortcove
A great guy who knows his gear and does great ribbon mic repairs too!

Gets a great sound from the Thiersch. I would have bought a pair if I’d of had the chance but I’ve bought lots of mics since. Still love to hear one in my room. I have a pair of Heiserman 47 tube mics arriving this week which I’m excited about.

I enjoy that its not trying to be a U47 or M49 clone. It's pretty expensive though.

Getting spendy is kinda trendy. Or getting trendy is kind of Spendy! Both work! They're almost symbiotic. Buying mics is as bad as buying eggs.
