Was the Kemper any good?
Not to my ears it wasn't, so it's not a big ask to sound better than a Kemper.
I'll have to go check it out.
I'm not in a hurray to give up on my Tone King Imperial Mk2 and Princeton Reverb.

I'm not in a hurray to give up on my Tone King Imperial Mk2 and Princeton Reverb. I’d take your Princeton over a Kemper any day. But, guitar means very different things to different people. When the Kemper was relatively new, Michael Wagner posted about seamlessly punching in on an actual amp track with the Kemper profile of said amp. That’s a pretty solid endorsement in high gain world. Personally, I can make a sim work for me just fine, but I miss using my amps whenever I do. The thing here is, the IK box is pretty dang affordable, that’s cool to me.
