Its actually a Redd 17. Very unlikely to have been used by the Fabs. AFAIK, it does have the same type of Seimens pre's that were used in the REDD 37.
Its kind of funny how things get valued like this, obviously its a collectable for someone. However, if you are looking for the "sound" of the Beatles, there are a lot more important pieces of gear:
Neumann 47/48 Fairchild compressor The "room" that is Abbey Road 2 The vintage amps, guitars and drums, along with the mics and mic techniques

I still bet that desk sounds very cool. Did the 17 have that mono-stereo "spreader" section? I'm not by my copy of Recordinf the Beatles.
