I have bought from Madooma before without problem but they are overpriced and purposefully sloppy in some of their descriptions. I almost bought a Siemens Sm204/23 from them only to find out it was pieced together by Andreas Grosser from SM205 parts.
The SM205 was a C12 with a SDC capsule.

I’ve purchased 4-5 times from Madooma over the years and have returned 2 of those purchases due to problems with the mics when they arrived. A 421 is probably a safe bet, test it out thoroughly and return promptly if anything is out of order.

I would also mention that if you are in europe you can find 421's cheaper in local classifieds or ebay. They can literally be found all over the place.

Yeah Madooma isnt responding to questions . Im in the u.s . Yep currently searching for A older 421 that isnt too beat up and there seems to be quite a few out there . My main goal is to find a healthy d12 but that seems to be a much riskier adventure as Ive read almost all are aged out of spec .

Madooma is a long-established company in Germany. I bought a bunch of stuff from them. Never ever had any problems. You may find cheaper 421s on Ebay, but when I buy from Madooma, I know the mics are in great shape and have been serviced. For me, that's worth the extra cost.
