Comparing KT to Bettermaker, is I think way off.
Shadow can correct me , but my understanding is BM build is very high end plus the daw control, KT, i thought, is known for low cost build quality ?

I'm exaggerating to make the point. I'm sure Bettermaker is better than KT, but I'm kind of hung up on wondering what the unit's value would be without the DAW control? Maybe it doesn't matter, it's all of the same piece. |

The Tegeler Creme RC looks pretty cool. That's actually controlled with mechanized knobs. Seems like the "purist" way?

Yeah, they're about 8 - 10 times more expensive and I would definitely place them in the high end of audio. Although they're not RND, neither is Gainlabs and whilst there's no doubt about their quality they don't have the name or brand recognition.
Which is cool for me because I wouldn't like to think about how expensive they'd be with an RND rep.
