I’m thinking of upgrading my 2012 Mac Mini to an M1. My go-to drum trigger was Slate, but it doesn’t look like they’ve ported it from Intel to AS. Can anyone recommend an AS-compatible drum trigger? I work in PT and Logic, but prefer Logic, so AU is best.
Appreciate your thoughts!

Slate ssd 5 is working fine here on my m1 mini, but I sm not triggering from a kit.

I've only used it once or twice, but the SPL drumXchanger has worked on my M1 Studio.

Rosetta is working great with Logic by the way. And when I do run it native most of the non-native plugins seem fine.
The only reason I'm staying in Rosetta is because ARA plugs like Melodyne don't work native. But all the old iZotope stuff I refuse to upgrade works still. ARA seems only to be a native issue for Logic.

apTrigga 3 is AS native www.apulsoft.ch/aptrigga3/I've been using this since V1 for at least 20 years. I also have samples of every kick and snare I've ever cut since 1991! Good for replacement as amazing as support alongside a track. Single sample snares to do verb sends etc. |

I actually bought trigger 2 yesterday and have been using it in the apple silicon version of studio one. Not Rosetta. So I think it must be m1 then? Plugs that aren't just don't show up in s1. Double check with their site maybe to see if it's been updated perhaps? I am not completely sure.
I just checked the site and it doesn't mention apple silicon compatibility. I need to check s1 to see if I left Rosetta checked for some odd reason. Hm.

Poop. All I can report is that S1 is definitely running Silicon native and trigger 2 works for some reason. Beats me! |
