I bought the lite version and then got enough coupons from previous reverb purchases to get the upgrade to Tai Chi regular for only $33. Still haven't tried it on anything. I believe it's more of an effect reverb instead of a real space. Might make a good comparison with Supermassive.

If I could only have one reverb plugin, Tai Chi would be it. First, it sounds great over a wide range—tight rooms to huge halls. But I have lots of reverbs that sound great. Tai Chi has a brilliant user interface, giving access to a huge palette in a coherent way. It's easy to come up with a great sound, save it, then tweak it into a family of different settings that are equally great (bright, dark, ducked...). I like that you can lock any controls or sections of controls, so when you recall presets those controls are unaffected. The reverb mix control is the most obvious that you might want to lock, but for instance you might want to try different reverbs with the same ducking settings, same low end EQ, reverb time, or even just pre-delay.
