Man such a bummer! Fleetwood Mac is one of my all time favorite bands. I was lucky enough to see them in concert in the late 90s. She will be missed!

She was/is my absolute fave of the Group. Super soulful and sexy Contralto voice. Phenomenal songwriter and excellent on Keys. Chris

Having seen her with Fleetwood Mac (in several incarnations) and solo with Lindsey Buckingham, I can honestly say that I will really miss her. She was a fantastic writer, player and singer who lit up the stage. And a pioneer female musician out there touring in the 60s and 70s. RIP and thanks for the music you made!

Going back and doing a deep dive in the LB/ Stevie era she doesn’t get enough credit for bringing a “ pop sensibility” and I keep thinking how often just having her keys or voice for background just made it work.

Totally agree. I first saw her in the Bob Welch incarnation (missed the early blues version but I’ll bet she kicked ass then, too). She had that pop sense then, and it developed even further with LB/SN version. The Mac’s biggest hit of all time was Don’t Stop, written by Ms. Perfect. Seeing her with just LB and a rhythm section confirmed her excellence for me.

Very saddened by this news, but here’s to a life exceptionally well lived, may she rest in peace.

Her stuff on Tusk is far to underrated. It has a very bluesy feel that isn’t overly pop.

I like this era of Fleetwood Mac the best. Not quite a “pop” band and not quite a “blues band”. Mystery to Me is probably my favorite of all.

Ya, Baretrees for me is a very special album.
I feel like such a sap, very upset about this.

Sad to hear this. So graceful and when she sang she commanded the stage. She was probably my favorite in the group.

Just watched the video of Harry Styles covering Songbird, it was a nice touch but it showed the talent Christine was.
