Just downloaded the slate digital connect app, it automatically updates ilok and then you can install your slate stuff: seamless.

I hope they didn't change the perpetual crash feature. I really liked that in v1.

I was just surprised to see it. I tried it, it didn’t sound cleaner than fab filter l2 to me, not certain, I’ll spend much time with it.

Yeah, It's been so long it took me a few minutes to realize what it actually was. I'll try it out and I appreciate they kept their word for owners of V1.

I think the compressor section on the original is one of the better clean mastering comps around. I wasn’t holding my breath for FGX-2 but I generally like small GR on a couple of different units when mastering, so I could see this being useful. I’ll certainly give it a shot.
