The studio I work out of has the 2016 Reissue. There was a very long-standing problem (for a year). A friend who has a lot of authorized warrantee repair contracts with a lot of audio companies (Roland, etc.) looked at it and said the main board needed to be replaced. Moog said send it to them. He did and they “fixed” the problem. Came back and the problem started again within a week. Our friend told them to just send a new mainboard like they should have in the first place and they refused. He even tried to become an authorized repair service location for them and they refused. So, back it went again and they replaced the main board. Has worked great since!
People say there’s some small differences with original. I don’t remember what they are anymore. Don’t care. It’s as awesome as anyone would expect!

I looked at the photo of the back of the 2022 Reissue - and it does not say "Made in U.S.A" for whatever that may glean. It does indicate that Moog is in Ashville, NC. but that is not the same as being made there. (The wood panels are claimed to be wood in the U.S.) |
