I do use it pretty often these days. Mostly ducking some upper mids on rhythm guitars when leads come in. Def worth the $29 I paid for it! Can be helpful on low end ducking bass when the kick is hit
Also was a lifesaver when this guitarist insisted on soloing when the vocals were happening (this truly baffles me)

i use tdr nova dynamic eq with sidechain for this. works.

i use tdr nova dynamic eq with sidechain for this. works. Me as well. I mostly want to duck only specific frequencies and for that the Nova has the easiest workflow

I'm not sure if it's just within cubase, but I often have a hard time getting sidechains to work with some plugs - I think Nova might be one of them. I do have others that do work, but Trackspacer is awfully fast for my workflow.
